Sadly I just bought a lovely leather skirt online, but I found it was too small, even though it was a UK size 8 (my normal size). This skirt was more of a UK size 6, so I shall have to sell it on. :(
Oh my! How annoying. Can you not send it back and exchange it for the following size? Bear in mind leather skirts are meant to be worn tight and some leather clothing (like new shoes) need to be "break in".
What type of leather is your skirt? Lambskin is soft and luxurious while other types of leather are harder.
If you cannot exchange your skirt and do not want to sell it neither try getting caught in a light rain; the rain water will soften up the leather and allow you to stretch and crease at specific points on your body.
Thanks for the suggestions Aanth, but this is beyond stretching. I mean there is a three inch gap between the button reaching the button hole, never mind being able to do up the zip. I can't exchange it as it was an ebay purchase and was unworn but second hand, i.e. the same as I would have to describe it if I sell it on again because I simply can't do it up.
Not sure what type of leather it is, but it is very soft and not hard, so I am guessing it may be the lambskin.
Never mind, no doubt I will find another one somewhere.

Anath, nice article, a Women in a leather skirt conveys a powerful image in both personal and business relationships. You said you were a 22 century Women in the 21st century. Although you may be ahead of your time, let's hope that Women such as yourself will become the norm much sooner than that!! :-)
